  • SimpliRent reserves the right to deny access to any user who breaches these Terms.

3. Bookings & Guest Responsibilities

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
  • By making a booking, you agree to comply with SimpliRent’s Guest Terms & Conditions.
  • The person making the booking warrants that they are authorised to do so on behalf of all guests listed.

4. Occupancy & Guest Verification

  • Only registered guests may occupy the property.
  • Third-party bookings are not permitted. The lead guest must be present for the duration of the stay.
  • Valid government-issued ID copies are required for all guests prior to check-in and must match the reservation details.
  • SimpliRent reserves the right to deny access or cancel bookings without refund where unauthorised or undeclared guests are identified.

5. Payments, Charges & Refunds

  • All payments must be made in accordance with the booking terms provided.
  • Additional charges may apply for damages, excessive cleaning, electricity usage, or breach of house rules.

Refund Policy

  • All refunds are issued at the sole discretion of SimpliRent.
  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing with supporting evidence, including:
    • Photographs
    • Videos
    • A clear description of the issue
  • Refund assessments and processing may take up to 15 (fifteen) business days to finalise.

6. Property Use

  • Guests must comply with all house rules, building regulations, and applicable laws.
  • SimpliRent reserves the right to cancel bookings or remove guests for non-compliance without refund.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • SimpliRent is not liable for:
    • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
    • Interruptions beyond its control (including load shedding, municipal outages, or construction noise)
  • Guests use the property at their own risk.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on this website, including text, images, branding, and design, is the property of SimpliRent or its licensors.
  • No content may be reproduced or used without prior written consent.

9. Protection of Personal Information (POPIA)

  • By using this website or making a booking, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
  • Information collected may include:
    • Names and contact details
    • Government-issued identification documents
    • Booking and transaction information
  • This information is used for:
    • Booking management and guest verification
    • Security and legal compliance
    • Customer service and communication
  • SimpliRent takes reasonable steps to protect personal information and process it lawfully.
  • SimpliRent may share personal information with its subsidiaries, affiliated entities, and linked companies (including Maison Lagrange) where necessary for operational and service delivery purposes, in accordance with POPIA.
